about

Recorded in live improvisational sessions at Hendricks Isle Studios (Fort Lauderdale) and live public performances between March and July of 2014 in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

All tracks written and recorded by Adam Matza at except "Cork," which is a collaboration between Adam and Gunther Berkus, who recorded the granular synthesis rhythm track in Cork, Ireland.

"Spasms" was recorded at Art On The Edge gallery in Fort Lauderdale on June 7, 2014. "Refractions & Echoes" was recorded at Churchill's Pub in Miami on July 11, 2014.

Adam played the following iPad synths through the AUFX Dub, Space and PeakQ effects apps, linked by AudioBus, the greatest musical invention of the 21st Century (besides the iPad, of course): Animoog, Alchemy, Filtatron, Thor, Magellan and iVCS3.

Everything was played and recorded on and in an iPad Air. No outboard gear was used during recording.

Produced and Mastered by Adam on ProTools via the Izotope Ozone 5 mastering suite.

Cover art by W. Kelley Lucas.

Special thanks to Ed Ethridge, Michael Molina, Dimitri Sculptor and Kelley Lucas.

Extra special thanks to all you mentally ill motherfuckers...without you, none of this would be possible.

Dedicated to my father, Barry Matza (1944-2014)
